OpenClaw versions 2026.5.20 before 2026.6.9 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability in plugin install commands that allows lower-trust callers to execute or persist actions beyond their intended authorization. Attackers can exploit misconfigured input paths or enabled features to escalate privileges and perform unauthorized actions when the feature is reachable.

A flaw was found in the OpenShift build process, where the docker-build container is configured with a hostPath volume mount that maps the node's /var/lib/kubelet/config.json file into the build pod. Pyroscope is an open-source continuous profiling database. The database supports various storage backends, including Tencent Cloud Object Storage (COS). If the database is configured to use Tencent COS as the storage backend, an attacker could extract the secret_key configuration value from the Pyroscope API.
